The T500 Alembic Pot Still is comprised of the copper T500 Alembic Dome Top and T500 Alembic Condenser with the T500 Boiler. These additions transform the T500 into the T500 Alembic Pot Still. Instead of stripping flavours to produce a clean spirit like the T500, this pot still retains and enhances flavours. This can be used when distilling washes that contain flavours that you wish to collect when making crafted spirits like whiskey, rum and gin.
The T500 Alembic Dome is copper and fits on to your T500 Boiler or Grainfather G30. The large copper surface area of this dome top acts as a catalyst with the vapours from your wash and helps enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas as well as remove unwanted sulphur compounds. This produces a smoother, richer, sweeter tasting spirit.
The T500 Alembic Condenser is best used with the T500 Boiler and the T500 ALembic Dome. This condenser aids in the retention of flavour rather than stripping it out by refluxing. This comes with a thermometer, tubing and tap adaptor set.
The T500 Alembic Dome and T500 Alembic Condenser are compatible with the Grainfather G30, making it ideal for crafting all-grain spirits.
The T500 Alembic Condenser is compatible with the Grainfather G40 & G70 Distilling Lid and Distilling Attachments Kits rafting larger batches of all-grain spirits.
